Fuel Security for Command & Tactical Vehicles
Mobile command posts and tactical vehicles are staged for long periods, frequently in the open and frequently in the exact places where they draw attention. Their fuel fills carry the same non-locking plastic door as any other chassis-cab truck.
Why It Happens
Long staging, low supervision
A command vehicle can sit at a perimeter or a special event for a full operational period with nobody watching its flanks.
Generators and scene power burn fuel
When a rig is the power source for a scene, fuel level is operational capability. Losing it mid-operation is not a budget problem, it is a capability problem.
A tampered tank is a targeted vehicle
Sabotage of an agency vehicle is a real risk profile, and an open fill is the least protected point on the truck.

Common Questions
Do you make doors for patrol sedans?
No. Our fitment records cover command units, tactical vehicles and other truck and cutaway chassis — not patrol cars.
Can it be opened without the key in an emergency?
The door is keyed. Keep a key on the rig and a spare with the fleet office; spare key sets are available as an add-on.
Is the hardware visible when locked?
The lock face is flush and finished in black, so it reads as trim rather than as an aftermarket add-on.
